I can help you improve your game engine and and its tools.
I offer:
- World-class expertise in creating game engine tools, especially with Immediate Mode UIs.
- A great low-level understanding of game engines, data models and content pipelines.
- The ability to identify and fix performance bottlenecks.
- Proficiency in Odin, C, C++, C#, shader languages and Python.
- A very friendly attitude.
I am interested in part-time contracts (up to 24 hours per week). I can work remotely or in the Stockholm / Uppsala area of Sweden.

Our Machinery – Senior engine and tools programmer
I created tools such as graph editors and level editors for the general-purpose game engine "The Machinery". I also implemented engine systems, worked on data formats and collaborative online editing.
Skills used: Programming (C), UI design, engine system design.
The engine does not exist anymore. But there is a mirror of its popular blog here.
CAT & ONION – Solo-developed video game
A video game I created all by myself. Well received for being a relaxing and funny experience.
Skills used: Programming (Odin), pixel art, animation, writing, music composition, sound design, marketing.
Understanding the Odin Programming Language – Author
An eBook on the Odin Programming Language. I wrote, edited and published it. Praised for being a great learning resource on programming.
Skills used: Technical writing, editing, research, digital book publishing.
Bitsquid / Autodesk – Engine tools programmer
I created tools for the Bitsquid game engine using C# and Lua. I also implemented some engine features in the C++ runtime.
Skills used: Programming (C#, C++, Lua), UI design.
Bitsquid was acquired by Autodesk. It was later discontinued. But the popular blog still exists here.
